Frankly I am a huge fan of these Japanese waterstones; they are positive to use and give superb edge sharpness when used correctly. It is worth mentioning that these are soft stones and can wear so really only use flat edged tools for maximum life of the stone. For profine honing or for narrow tools diamond or ceramic stones are more practical. If however it is sharpness for chisels; knives or plane blades - then look no further!...Click for info
